I'm in love near these curtains but wanted some proposal if i should get sheers or not

My problem is the heater/ac component is below the window and can't be covered so i would enjoy to get them shorter than the curtain panel.

I'm keeping the blinds which are brand new and because i'm on the first floor and stipulation the privacy.

I plan to hang the rod give or take a few 3inches above the window and add on about 5 inches on respectively side of the window to breed it seem bigger.

what do you judge i should do any advice is appreciated

Answers:    The URLs are out of order but if you are going to get sheers, I would a moment ago drape them up and over the blinds. A more solid color can be drawn over them to hide them.
