He likes black and red and lots of drama. The walls to his room are gray, and the runner is very bedside light. We can't afford to change that, but we would similar to bedding, curtain or even furniture ideas. He like skating but I don't think he'd close to a "theme room". Thanks!

If you live in close proximity one - take teen (you may own to bring an extra friend or two - lol) and let them pick out stuff, in your budget, that they like.
Ikea's stuff is well brought-up and versatile. So you can "contemplate outside the box" and get interesting (cool or "drama"tic) stuff that he can use -- rugs as wall hangings, frames as hooks, doesn`t matter what...

Answers:    If it be me I'd probably use red curtains.. Buy some cheap skateboard and pin it to the wall. Have a bean bag or something, fun to enjoy in the room. Perhaps lots of posters and stuff.. And product HIM choose what he wants!! He's staying surrounded by the room after all.. I garlanded my room by myself.
