My kitchen have a linoleum floor bonding agent to a cement foundation, can i put terracotta tile over it?

Answers:    If you do this you need to use a apt thin set. near is a thin set at home depot call flex bond. if you do not use a good water down set your tiles will pop up over the course of a few years
you shouldnt do it.but it may be done if you use a fortified thinset(has polymers in it that alow for flexabilty) you should be fine . i wouldnt do it .i would want to ensure a complete bond to the cement. it isnt that frozen to rip ,use a razor scraper for most of it .for harder areas use some warmth from an old clothes iron that you can achieve at a garage sale for a few bucks.
