My fanlight pole is 100 inches what size curtains would be best? im moving into a new house so i am buying trial...

im moving into a new house so i am buying trial curtains. i measured the pole including finials at 100 inches. Ive seen some lovely curtains 66" x 90" would these fit ok. ? any thinking

Answers:    The curtains should be twice as wide as the porthole. If your window is just about 100" wide, later you would need two sets of the curtains that are 90". Otherwise, when the curtains are closed at hand will be no fullness at all and it will look awfully odd.
