I also own an old , movie board , from the 20,s that i would love to use also contained by creams and white a hint of blue . am i on the right track , or does any one own any suggestions
Answers:    Yes you are on the right track.
Find some interesting furniture and accessories that will look nice within the room once they are painted.
I think colors that would compliment that style would be a sage green ... some wash out slate blue color and cremes. You can achieve this by first drawing a piece white .. let it dry... consequently use the slate blue paint lightly on a cloth... and simply wipe it on until you get the desired effect.
This will be a brand unsullied updated contemporary twist on art deco furniture. Create a style adjectives your own.
Don't forget to add natural touches. Some nice woody green plants in a fluffy green or even a hint of wan to the leaves would look great in this room. No dimness green... just wouldn't contest.
Art pieces such such as some leafy wrought iron designs to hang on the wall would be nice. Doesn't business what color the art piece is that you buy...just spray paint it to contest the room decor.
1] I'd watch some movies from the 20s to bring ideas.
2] creams and whites would travel beautifully
3] believe most bedroom curtains be big priscillas, in white or cream, near ruffles
4] add ruffles to dressing table too
5] white satin or chenille counterpane
7] sky or smoke blue walls, or wallpaper with a small blue print.
