My home is about 20 years ancient. The original dishwasher be hotwired. I want to move it to the other side of the sink, because I am putting in strange cabinets and it wasn't functional within the old location. The cable is black (with black/white/ground inside) and is freshly long enough to accomplish the other side of the sink where I want the unknown location to be.

Q1: Can I then place a receptacle at the ruin of it?

Q2: (It won't be long enough to hot lead to the dishwasher in this strange location, but I think? I could put a plug on the dishwasher and next just plug it contained by. Is that true? I probably need to bring back a new dishwasher as the matured one is as old as the house and is not the greatest anymore.)

Q3: Should it be a 15 amp receptacle-not a 20 amp receptacle? I don't know if the cable is 14/2 and 120 Volt, but I do know it is a unswerving circuit in my breaker box.

Hope this is clear adequate. Thank you for advice.
Answers:    You can install plugs but a simpler approach would be to just place a T-junction box on the end of your existing telecommunication (either under the sink or below the kitchen as long as it's accessible) and run clean wire to your clean DW location. Use the same size line as you have nearby now probably 14-2.
If the breaker is 20 amp later use 12-2, if it's 15 amp use 14-2.
