i've got 5 (cheapy) full length mirrors near damaged frames... so i'm going to remove the frames & protection & i got some molding beside a groove to frame around the outside edges, and some 1/2"-3/4" wide flat trim to cover the seam, but i'm unsure about the best passageway to mount the mirrors--*esp the trim* to cover the seams...
i be thinking some sort of glue or cement; i've tried mounting tape at a previous home & they fell rotten (damaging the frames)--which WON'T do!! as i want to mount them on the wall next to where on earth my baby's bassinet will be. i own the home, and just moved within, so they can be fairly beyond repair. i plan to screw in the frame, but i'm not sure if a short time ago having the frame at the top & bottom of the mirrors will be safe and sound enough
do you suppose each mirror should be glue or adhered to the wall?
what sort of cement or glue should be used?
can the flat trim pieces be glue to the mirrors themselves, or would they need to be attached some other road? any suggestions?
Answers: i would glue the mirrors to the wall using solution nails. you can find it at your local home center i.e. home depot or lowes. you can also gum the trim pieces you want to use between the mirrors.
have fun.
put them on the wall
