*6 panel doors that are stained mohogany on the inside of the panel (recessed parts of the door) and stained honey oak on the outside of the panels (the flat surfaces of the doors).

Is it "okay" to mix these shades of wood? Would you meditate it's a good impression, or not? When selling my home down the road, would the varying shades of wood be a turnoff to the perspective home buyer? Any relevant comment would be appreciated.
*Note, I have sand the mohogany off adjectives areas of the doors that I can, I do not have the get-up-and-go to sand it out of the recessed areas. We do not have the funds to purchase different trim for the doors to match the oak trim on the floors. I will not paint over the doors or the trim- I want to hold the look of wood!

The reason it is "okay", is that you hold all automatic wood, your description reminds me of a beautiful wood mosaic outline I saw at an art museum, it was breathtaking. These are also the inbred wood colors of my father's library. Our house was built surrounded by 1920's, the warm woods(honey oak,maple) do a short time ago that- give a temperature to the room, and it somehow increases the comfort ,safety rank. The mahogany represents strength,power, which is also a source of comfort. You will see this wood mix in elder,historical homes, in the office and libraries of senior "power people"(lawyers, judges),check out some of the movies where you can see contained by the backdrop the directive offices of hindmost in the day("The Firm", "The War of the Roses") and surrounded by actual libraries around in elder historical towns, woods represent stability,affluence,comfort...You don't need to sand anymore, what you already sand, just apply a lighht, clear base,maple or honey oak stain,(good decision,not to paint!), it will look so thaw out and pretty, it will pick up the highlights left over from the mahogany, and it will meeting up with the honey oak, the wood colors together look similar to fire in the fireplace, I miserable, the colors dance and truly radiate heat!!(OK, I enjoy real, fond memories of the time I spent within these colors) No way would this be a turnoff to the perspective home buyer,especially one near a deja vu..... You have dutiful taste, I utter that because you opted to preserve the wood. How does the wood combination surrounded by your home make you have a feeling?Yeah, it's "okay"...
Sounds beautiful. But, you want to work within odd numbers. You inevitability a third shade of wood. You didn't mention the floors or furniture. Don't worry so much just about resale because you're living there very soon, you want to reflect your style. The wood pieces within your furniture should have some honey oak and mahogany contained by them, plus a third wood. It is totally fine to mix shades/ species of wood. Where would we be without collection? Also, if you notice marquetry, it is other done with several different shades to create a magnificent work of art.
