I'm about to Build a bathroom within Nice. Some people influence marble is cheaper in Italy than here. Is this true? Where is a virtuous place to buy?

Answers:    Of course, it is cheaper, as that is where on earth it comes from. Very little per centage wise comes from anywhere else. I would chew over that Nice would have a distributor I cant conjure you going to italy to buy such a small amount...
I worked in a giant rise in chicago years ago and the owner go to italy to purchase the marble. But, that was to meeting up the new marble to the existing marble. (match for color and graining) He ordered the marble, and it be lataer shipped to the job. It be an old, historical high point, and we were re-modelling it to clash the original structure. (Monadnock Building, Burnham and Root, circa 1898)
Regarding where on earth to go...while on a train from Milan to Venice, I saw quarrys of marble, from the train porthole. Not sure if this is the only place within Italy, but I suspect it to elsewhere.
