This is for an extra unfinished room losing my garage that my dog sleeps in at dark. He goes to the bathroom on the floor and it is extremely badly hard to verbs concrete...I need a smooth surface that I could possibly even mop...should I use dyed concrete to even the floor out or would it be easier to tile it? Also looking for giving of a cheap option that I could do myself. Suggestions?
Answers:    I used a concrete paint that I bought at Lowe's for my yard. It sprays off great near a regular hose and can be swept and mopped. As long as you don't use a pressure washer, this will do you just fine. I put 2 coats on my square and it looks awesome. They'll mix it up to almost any color just approaching regular paint (i did mine sage green :-). I applied it using a roller on an extender so I didn't even have to bend to roll it on except the corners. Be sure the surface is super clean previously you do it and any cracks are filled surrounded by first. Good luck!
Look at some of the new garage floor treatments. They can be "painted on" or newer ones in truth roll out like sheet vinyl. The roll out type is super natural but perhaps more $$ than you diligence to spend. Tile would be expensive plus you need to trademark the grout every so often, especially near a leaky dog.
