I was wondering how long the cement sand mix used as a grout between slabs take to go sour. I used a mixture of between 3 or 4 of sand to 2 of cement. I used a dry mix.
Answers: that mix ratio is very "hot",objective extremely high cement ratio.4 to 1 or 5 to 1 would own been a moment or two more practical.Your mix will set rather like greased lightning,within a few hrs.,depending on the atmosphere temp.The main problem next to a hot mix is that it usually ends up cracking,because it sets too fast..GOOD LUCK!!
I infer it's 24 hours but I'm not a builder! Also, the weather will have something to do beside it too, will take longer if it's cold
