Im using usg plus 3 lightweight joint compound, when i used it on my wall for the first coat after it dried it cracked everywhere approaching spiderwebs running through it. It also had alot of airbubbles i beleive to be cause by me mixing the compound in the mud jar after i pulled it from the bucket. Any help?
Answers: If it's cracking your putting it on to gelatinous. You have to amount that you put a coat of mud then your cassette and a then another coat of mud simply enough to cover the video. Then plan on 2-3 more coats to get it right. Making respectively pass wider than the concluding. If your putting the mud over previously painted surface your going to get some bubbles.
