We've got four weeks from the time we hold ownership to when we move in. Here's my current plan of attack, would love any suggestions. I enjoy three small kids, so I want to get as much done contained by advance as possible. 1) electrics (internet, sound, phones) updated, 2) minor construction (just moving a built-in), 3) theory test hanging the artwork (so we can construct holes in the wall while we integer it out). 4) Then, bring in folks to verbs the vents/chimneys, 5) then rug cleaners, 6) after a cleaning crew for all the rest (appliances, floors, etc). Once that's done concluding step is 7) a fresh coat of paint on all the walls, and afterwards we move in.
I really want this to smell and discern like our home. I'm not worried something like it from a design perspective, our "stuff" will help it look approaching our place (as will some color changes on the walls).
Any suggestion?
