My mother in canon has offered to fashion curtains on my new house. The picture below is what I enjoy in mind, but it looks fancy and difficult, and I don't want to appear rude by asking her to brand name something so difficult. I have no hypothesis on her skill level.
Can you look at my pic and notify me whether this style of curtain would be difficult to make?
Thanks so much!!

Answers: That looks resembling expensive fabric. I product custom myself. I find it easy. It looks similar to pleated drapes so you can pull them shut/open. The jabot is not difficult. The swags are not difficult any. You could attach the whole top to rods close to shown or you could attach them to a cornice board. I would go this agency if you have formal furniture to walk with it. This is a formal look. She can slickly get a model, or take an frail jabot or swag apart and copy them. Are there resale shops surrounded by the UK where you can find some used ones? You better check out the price of the yard goods first. Or another way is to buy ready-made curtains, use them for the sides and cut the other ones to fit the rest. I would presume they are crumpled also so the sun will not fade the fabric. Best of luck.
The panel won't be too hard, but the draping valance I don`t know difficult. Ask your mother-in-law if she is willing to nick on a project this large.
There are pattern for curtains. Check a fabric store. That may construct the job easier.
