Answers: My jasmine is the small flowered type which I bought as a house plant 5 yrs ago. Since then it have grown quite ecstatically up a trellis on my patio. Last years thaw out winter, which brought the flower buds on prematurely,was followed by firm frosts which browned off the buds. Thus denying us us our spring flowers and lovely fragrance. They will flower again but subsequent. With these hard frosts at the moment mine is covered up beside a double layer of feel, to try and save the hasty blooms/perfume.
The fleece will keep bad 4C of frost.
It is great for protecting things from frost, and allows air to circulate so things don't gain wet and prone to desease - I other wrap my tree ferns over winter. Your jasmine isn't that delicate, though, despite it's looks -it shouldn't have need of it.
