I am in the flea market to buy this machine or the Baby Lock magazine. I was wondering will the mechanism be more stable on the stand or will it work just as ably on a counter top? I was thinking it could conceivably move around on the counter top.
Answers:    I own the PR 600 and can say that if you enjoy a sturdy table you can use the PR 600 easily on a table top, but of you do not, I would recomend the stand. The stand have stabilizers to make it smooth. If you are planning on using this machine surrounded by more than one location I would suggest getting the stand. If you are purchaing new, you can natter the dealer into throwing within the stand as a package settlement.
