im wondering if my bedroom size is average for my age, im 13 and have a 10x10 room and live in northern california. im over shadowed by my 17 year brother who will be going to college subsequent year so i will get his bigger room. anyway tell me.

Decorating Dilemma?
its actually on the smaller side, my room is 13 x 9. (and im 14)

but it really sucks because i hold to have two beds for when my sister comes home for the holidays (lol) from college and desires a place to sleep!

I think it depends where you live. A bedroom surrounded by a city or an apartment will be smaller than one out in the suburbs.

Where I live I think the average bedroom size is 12x12 to 13x14. I did alot of looking at houses beside my dad when we moved to a different neighborhood a few years ago, and those were the typical bedroom sizes.

Mine is 18x21 though.

You have to look at the area surrounded by which you live. But, size isn't what matters it how you feel when you are surrounded by your room.

uhh im 13 and my room is 20x20 so i think your room is just a tab bit small?
