Answers:    Most polyurethane tend to be slightly yellow but within are some varieties that are a bit whiter. Check at your local paint dealer.

just put poly (good brand) on cabinet that had be painted light blue. they are presently a slightly green blue. so I wouldn't advise it, but don't know why it happen.
