tell me what your experience is with ikea furniture, it's cheap and cool , i am not ruff on it, but want it to end, thanks
i wouldn't know I'm just a kid

we have our kids' wardrobe and chest of drawers from nearby as well as a bookcase and several small tables. Our kitchen cabinet are also from there. The biggest drawback of course is that everything have to be assembled. A small table, piece of cake- cabinets for an entire kitchen- uggggh.

It's been 3 years and everything looks pious, with normal wear and split, still functions fine, doors open and close as they should, everything's square, no legs falling off the table, in short I see no reason why anything would really begin to it with normal use.
Answers:    I recently re-decorated my room and bought profoundly of furniture from Ikea. I bought: 2 dressers (one six drawer, one 3 drawer) small sofa, 2 cd racks, mirror, 2 lamps, a beautiful alien desk bought and put together today :) and some random accessories. So far everything have held up great (a couple of years since initial pieces bought) and I sometimes am a bit rough with the dressers :/ Remember, you have to put mostly adjectives Ikea furniture together so make sure to follow all directions and clutch your time because you will have this furniture for a while. The only problem you may enjoy is that the furniture is too small for the space that you are decorating. All of the things I mentioned I have placed contained by a small (12x12) bedroom with a bed and additional furniture. To pack a larger room you may need a lot of furniture, or it may look similar to play furniture in the store (thats what my couch looks like compared to adjectives the others on display)
At first we were hesitant to buy furniture from Ikea because it be cheap. We bought all of the furniture for my bedroom from a large furniture company (i forget which) and it really didn't work out. The furniture be much too large for the room and they quality be terrible. Within a year the tracks on the dressers broke and the drawers would just trickle out of the dressers when you went to open it. Eventually the paint adjectives chipped off and the back of the furniture fell out making it impossible to use. Not wanting to spend indistinguishable amount of money for the same bad talent we tried Ikea. While I forget the prices of all the items I bought we spent at least lower than $800 for it all which probably amounted to the price of one of the original non Ikea pieces we bought.
I would surely recommend that you buy from Ikea, it be the best thing that we decided to do when remodeling, we save a lot of money and aggravation.
Some pieces are better than others. Some are in truth wood and some are ... something else. We have some bedroom furniture that we have have for years and it is fine. careful,
we had a big blue desk that come crashing down onto my sister who was only six. i dont know i prefer the brick or walmart. lol.
I've have my bed (from Ikea) for about five years and it shows no sign of breaking down on me. I have two bookshelves that are of late as old and are in matching condition, so, I've had good luck beside Ikea. But it might be a good idea (design-wise and wear-and-tear-wise) to budge to real furniture in a house, where on earth as in an apartment, you can probably get away near Ikea-ness. All of this, of course, depending on the duration of your living conditions. The only experience I'm speaking from is that my mother only just moved from her apartment, she knew it was one and only temporary, so for my furniture, we hit Ikea, so it would be easier to move/get rid of. I plan on keeping my bed (the one at her house) until it breaks down, but it certainly be easy to move. Keep in mind that this is my bedroom, so it is not on display for the complete house. If you're a college student with a dorm or apartment, you could pull it bad. If you're 40 with a house -- it might be a little gluey.
Just one person's opinion, though. Others might differ. I had it contained by my bedroom as a kid and it was fine.
I now hold a crib, toy box, and dresser for my son from IKEA. One drawer on the dresser is a little wobbly.
I also have 2 small table and cd racks from there, all of which own held up fine.
Just make sure you take your time and put the pieces together right.
