Is getting fixture radiaters fitted an expensive opening?
If it were a acceptably straightforward job and your boiler was up to it,I would charge in the region of lb50 pound per rad (plus cost of radiator obviously) It kinda is expensive, depending on how many and where your radiators are going to take fitted.
You could consider diy. Drain the system. Use push fit tees and bends. No skill needed, of late read up on it. If you go to the Public Library there will be DIY manual that cover this very subject. If you follow the guidelines it's very difficult to grasp it wrong. You obviously need to work out how much you can attach before your boiler cannot cope with the extra constraint. There are calculators for this on the net. But it may well be that your existing boiler can be familiar to increase it's output, unless it's already set to maximum. Combi boilers tend to be better as they modulate their output automatically i.e. the heat output will rise to maximum on demand, although nearby still is a maximum figure. It very much depends on the plumber, the distance away from existing pipework and whether it would necesitate upgrading your primary system.
You might want to consider underfloor heating, it's becoming quite popular and prearranged to be more efficient.
Answers: It can vary dramatically depending on what radiators you choose, where you choose to enjoy them and what extra pipework will be required.
Also, make sure that your current boiler is going to be capable of heat these extra radiators.
Get several quotes, from local heating companies, don't even bother getting quotes from major vitality providers (ie.British Gas and N-Power) as these will be extortionate and work will most likely be carried out by sub-contractors.
Hope this helps..
