My husband and I are remodeling. We are taking down a wall between our living room and office to brand one big living room. To have a fitting furniture layout, we will have to wipe out the current door into the office nouns. I would like to still hold a doorway to access this area for better traffic flow, but the just space available for a new doorway is in the region of 27" wide. Is that too get thinner?
Answers:    If that door is only used for access to the organization, a door as small as 24" would work. Keep in mind, though, that you are going to be seriously restricted as to what you can put contained by that office beside only a 27" channel. Most access doors to separate rooms are from 24" (closets and bathrooms) to 30" (bedrooms, dens, etc.).

However, you may not be able to find a 27" door. In that luggage, you'll have to buy a 28" door and cut it down to size.
24" is the smallest first performance for a door, and thats normally for a closet.
