Got any ideas how to use textile and/or lighting to create a "night sky" effect lying on a 4 poster bed?
Is Gretsch-Unitas pane hardware the best?

I'm not sure I understand what you want exactly; do you want to create a blind? If so, I don't think that will finish the effect you want. Mind you, I haven't seen the bed, so I'm going on my imagination here, but I would experiment next to lghting on the ceiling instead of the bed itself. Maybe installing very fine roughage optic cables over the bed. You can carry the kind that twinkle, which creates a hours of darkness sky illusion.
Has anyone hear of Klox furniture maker?
use dull blue fabric suspend it above your bed and like cut little holes and put little gold/silver lights through these holes turn on the christmas lights (make sure the room's lights are off) and voila a darkness sky!
