Installing granite counter top surrounded by bathroom today - Do we hold to stamp it? The installer is coming today, and I don't think he's the one...
The installer is coming today, and I don't think he's the one that would know if we enjoy to seal the granite top. The owner/salesman is the one that we homily to (speaks English) and usually his installers don't. That's no put down, please understand.
Anyway, for a bathroom do we enjoy to seal this? Or should it come hermetic? What's the typical routine for cleaning the granite and what things should we NOT use, or what should we be careful not to spill on it?
Answers: We enjoy a granite counter top on the island in our kitchen. It is in the order of 9 years old. It have never been hermetic. We have spilled merely about everything you can create in your mind that you have contained by a kitchen. There has never be a stain on it.
We clean it near 409, windex and similar products. We do avoid cleansers that have a polishing agent approaching Ajax because it is possible to scratch granite if you really try. Keeping standing wet cleaned up is a good thought because of the possibility of leaving calcium deposits on the granite.
On should not verbs granite with marble. Marble is much softer and some what porous. Sealing it is a apt idea.
We freshly had granite up within our master bath 2 weeks ago. We own no plans to seal it any.
you don't need to trademark it this stone it can be thousands of years old and nil has hurt it however.
