Installing Cast Stone for Outdoor? I recently purchased style stone from http://www.napavalleycaststone.com/index... and my installer...

I recently purchased style stone from http://www.napavalleycaststone.com/index... and my installer bailed out on me. I decided that I can any do-it myself or hire someone (prefer to do it myself). Does anyone know how to install? On the back of respectively molding, there are metal straps and stuff. I am also wondering if in that is some kind of clear protectant for the stone to prevent it from turning color and keeping its shape. Thanks for any assistance

The metal straps are to hold it while the grout dries. Laticrete make some great grout for just this purpose, within a wariety of colors. There are some clear protectants out there, again contact Laticrete, but most race porefer not to seal it, so it will weather and look more approaching natural stone. If you do it yourself, basically dry stack everything (no grout) and check your fit. Then unstack and start at the bottom.
