Our children are grown, but we currently have 2 small grandchildren and, logically, are hoping for more.
Would my room look dutiful?
Both enjoy pros and cons if you ask me.

Leather can be lovely, but it has to be angelic quality leather, and that can be expensive. IF it get damaged repair may not be so trouble-free, and harder to get 'only so'. Leather however, in notion, would wipe clean easier if the children spill things on it.

That said, I would probably dance for microfiber, and also invest in a appropriate quality stain protector treatment.

Well, leather is more sleeker and nicer looking. However, Microfiber is an awesome fabric. Practically spill-proof and, cat scrape resistant. It is also more comfy than Leather. And depending on where you live, I wouldnt want to sit on leather surrounded by the winter or stick to it in the summer.

By the track, my sister bought 2 really nice light suntan leather couches 2 years ago. They are already filthy looking and ragged. Why? Because she have 2 very babyish children. You can clean it a million times, but infantile kids will get it dirty, no issue how much you watch them.

Answers:    I prefer microfiber. It is never cold when you sit on it and you don't sweat when it's hot. I have microfiber sectionals coated next to stainmaster. They are 3 years old and still look brand up to date. They feel really soft. I sit on many leathers but they weren't as comfortable. Plus the microfiber be cheaper.
