I'm have my kitchen remodled and wonder if rattan floors are a well brought-up choice.?
If I remember correctly, wicker is relatively soft and will dent easily. Watch out for dropped pots, flatware, and high heels! Water will ruin it (dishwasher overflow, drizzly spills, etc.), so use something that water won't damage such as slate, tile or any untaught stone. Same reason you wouldn't put it in your bathroom!
I really don't reckon that bamboo floors will do good for you... and i surmise it's cheap but you need to renovate your floors about once a year. so for me it's much better to cost me expensive that will later for 10 years :D well good luck to your choice :) not it wouldnt' hold up and how would you verbs it. yes they do this in japan and stuff but they have to repeat it once in awhile say every 6 mos i would bet. unless you are doing no shoes etc.
Answers: Don't know much about bamboo floors, but we stayed at a break rental (20 girls) and while we were there and cleaning up to progress home, someone dropped something on the floor, can't remember what it was, but it left a dent!! It wasn't a brick or anything and I thought, this would never work for me. I enjoy had urethane impregnated wood floors contained by my kitchen and I loved them. I didn't scrub unless your feet got stuck to something and they other looked great. I have tile now and would never do that again!! They are cold contained by the winter and hard on your legs and feet. They chip too! I necessitate something that is easy to verbs and holds up. I love the way good ole vinyl feel on my feet, but that is pasaaaaaay. Good luck
yes it will hold up similar to any other fabucated flooring .i used cork cost little more but great on your legs well worth it.the flooring is finished out. i keep mine restrained. Yes! They are eco friendly and beautiful.
