If i want cherry wood floors what color should i seize for my cabinet?
Cherry wood floors come surrounded by a variety of finishes. Natural cherry is a prevailing conditions color and it can be stained beyond that as dark as you would similar to.
I am a kitchen designer and I like a dark wood floor with white or feathery painted cabinetry. It is a classic look that will not go out of style.
I would say-so something darker... a neutral color wood would clash with it I would feel... I am having alike wood matching colors within my kitchen. Cherry floors are beautiful though, nice choice! Good Luck and I hope you win better help than what I own offered.
I agree with above... If you are going near a painted finish instead of a natural wood finish... a wispy color would be amazing. I was thinking wood finishes.
Answers: It depends on the style of your house. Cherry floors look great with two toned cabinet - perhaps surrounded by a cherry/maple, combination or going the other way beside a cherry/deep mahogany combination. If you're going for paint, it might depend on your color scheme, but cherry looks great next to both sage greens and deep reds (perhaps antiqued or surrounded by an antique crackle) - or a combination of both or a combination of paint and wood.
Go to your local home improvement center and look at the combinations and you will seize great ideas.
cherry wood is such a pretty color! I longing i knew what the style of your house be. it would be easier to give you an answer but... If you're looking to paint, a creamy white color would look simply gorgeous! next to pewter knobs or pulls. If you're not sure give or take a few color or style. You should go to a paint store that specializes contained by matching paint near wood. Maybe Sherwin-Williams. But be sure you get someone who truly knows what they are conversation about.
