If I remodel my house will it lose some of its importance.?
Most remodels will raise the value of a home
As long as you are true to the architectural/style of your home, you will up the meaning to the home. Plus, never overdue the remodeling/improvements for your neighborhood. Example - adding a huge addition that make your home twice the size of the homes in your neighborhood would not be wise. But remodeling or adding up an add'l bathroom or upgrading the kitchen are the two best improvements you can do to a home. On the other hand, adding a pool, the cost will not be recoup when selling. Only do this if you really want the pool for your family. If say you enjoy an old historian house with the pretty wide woodwork for trim and you sheetrock and put the plain stuff back on, afterwards yes, you may make it lose it's value.
Also, if you remove bedrooms or bathrooms, it may moderate in value.
Otherwise, usually remodeling increases helpfulness.
Answers: The areas that bring up the value on your home in remodeling is the bathroom and kitchen, but also is you replace the AC part, shingles, and upgrade to siding. These all bring up the values, everything else prety much does NOT drop the value unless the remodel is sloppy.
