Hey. I found a really cute Town Loft on Craigslist that I am moving into next week. It has pallid colored Bamboo Hardwood floors and I am kinda puzzled as to what paint color would look good on the walls. I'd like to bring back a rich colored shag rug keeping a modern feel throughout with a modern sectional sofa. Any focal point philosophy...or wall color ideas??

This is the link to Craigslist to see the pics of the hardwood floors as powerfully as the kitchen.

i focus for wall colours you should really do like a sage green or a sea foam green, next to the molding as a forest green. or you could have the walls as an azure blue with flotilla molding. focal point, a big comfy couch or a nice table. modern would be great. the shag rug could be a hunter green with the greens or a royal blue with the blues. Hope it help babe.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the network, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can dig out by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most natural, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "underseas" (# 6214) would look fab!
What would look good near the rug and floor would probably be a mocha color it matches and for the kitchen do a very street light yellow or baby blue. Im a professional designer, those are my personal thoughts, trust me they look worthy. :) The first thing that came to my mind is a nice sage. That other keeps such a natural be aware of to hardwood, especially light woods. The good entity is, you have fresh canvas! you could do anything! Good luck
Good Lord. Georgous! I happen to be in the paint buisness. GREEN! Sage green to be exact. Behr make the absolute perfect color ever. It's call "Sagey" 420F-4. Tell the folks at home depot. IF THE WALLS ARE PERFECT. Sherwin wiliams makes the best paint- They can match the color.True. Pay the extra $. Wait, are you renting? yes. Your manager should foot the cost. Meanwhile fill your home with thaw, calming colors in the brown family- Go nick all the samples from h d you can carry- (they are adjectives free) TAPE them on the wall and cut away all the colors you hate on the double. Then give it 24 hours- look at the colors in every street lamp of the day and keep surrounded by mind the seasons. Look at them in the morning, adjectives throughout the day and at night when you hold your lamps on. Take your time- you live there. Congrats. It's wonderful! PS lose the shag carpet. Sorry. Ive always loved Bright Green (Like the Granny Apple Smith Green) and Brown together. They are complimentary colors and mix a nonpartisan with a bright. It creates a very modern consistency. You can even mix the light bamboo color within with it as a 3rd detail color.
a dark blue might look nice or a gray

Watch Lifestyle direct for some techniques, you can also find some links from Youtube. I think a fundamentally light (inside of) Avocado color would be fine.
Answers:    I'd paint all the trim, moldings and all that alike color as the floor. The pick a color theme and get some artwork or accent on the walls that fit in with furnishings. Then bring back something to break it up even more.

Good looking interiors are about matching, and contrasting, and breaking things up within a tasteful way that goes economically with the paint scheme.

There are various things you can do, but I find that keeping things clean is nicer to live with. Not so verbs it's all white though, but a couple of main colors and some tastefully contrasting contained by small amounts.
haha

I think a incredibly light color to keep it unambiguous and light. Yellows, and greens, BeDazzle the stair case ;)
