I have a dark kitchen near one small light fixture. My kitchen is not that big and does not have alot of fluent light. It has solely one small window. What is the best lighting to brighten it up? I have hear Flourescent is the best but I thought that it was ugly and behind the times fashioned. It's only a small kitchen. Any ideas? I stipulation something to throw out a lot of light. Is it better to grasp one long light fixture?
Answers:    Flourescent fixtures have come a long means of access in the last few years, and you can obtain the bulbs in the better "Warm White".

My kitchen is a galley style, and my husband and son-in-law installed recessed lighting -it's wonderful! It had a long florescent box fixture, and getting that thing out give the whole room seem much bigger. Amazing! We used six lights and they're on a dimmer, so it doesn't HAVE to be lit up approaching Vegas. But when I need/want light, I've got plenty. try some track lighting within strategic places.
