We have a beautiful, antiquated very ornate mirror my grandmother-in-law give to us and we want to use it in our decor. However, it is really kind of gold ingots, Louie 14 style design and doesn't fit in. I was thinking of spray drawing it a dark chocolate color that would go near the rest of the furniture peices in the room and make it a segment of the foyer. Any ideas?

Answers:    I would just verbs it up and leave as is or gold or silver branch! I wold not spray paint.
That is why it is beautiful!
They are now putting " Granny couches" next to glass top chrome end or coffee table!
Somehow it seems to work and actually looks particularly nice!
