Answers: A castle theme would be completely nice. You can use masking cassette in a grid to paint bricks, and faux paint view. You could buy or build a bed that matches the subject. A matching play building or tower would be nice too.
Pirate theme are also good.
I go with an serious theme for my son. His walls are covered beside 3D maps, science posters, and math equations.
Well I be going to say to do something he can grow into but if money isn't an choice then merely have fun and re-decorate as he get older. You can do interactive things close to using blackboard paint on the bottom half of the walls (on one wall if you don't want chalk dust everywhere lol). You can also do a fascinating wall (with magnetic paint) so he can sway up the pictures he makes description of like he's decorate it himself... And a plus about appealing paint is you can paint over it with doesn`t matter what color paint you want so you don't have to stare at it resembling the blackboard paint. Any theme will do for a 3 year outmoded.. wild animals, dinosaurs, nautical, cars, etc.
