what can i do to cover the joints up
Answers: How long ago be this? Nearly all laminate flooring is not rainproof and when it get drizzling it expands like soggy cardboard. If you're lucky over time the edges will budge back down as it dries out completely, if you're not you will be stuck near it I am afraid. You could try passing a dry iron benevolently over it to encourage it to dry out faster but you run the risk of scorching or melt your laminate. When cleaning it in adjectives wring out your mop until it is almost dry before use or use one of the 'Swifer' type products and a spray. I find flash spay and a dry mop work pretty well and after rinse all the dirt bad the mop in the sink. Sorry not to submit a better solution but I hope you get lucky and it dries out ok. Good luck
You can't !! You've distinctly over wet the floor when wash it and caused the wood to swell and contract after. Look on it as a lesson learn - use a damp mop/cloth solely to clean laminate floors. B & Q do provide stuff to blend in the join - it's like a coloured paste but you will still see the joints a bit. Best piece is buy a rug xxx
