Answers: First, pick bedding....get a plain color, try for something on clearance. Get a contrasting ribbon at the craft store and any glue it contained by place...stripes, plaids, etc. or sew. It depends on how handy you are with a syringe. Buy tons of ribbion, get white sheets and trim pillow cases and top sheet near the same ribbon, creating a color-coordinated look. Use the furniture you own and paint if you must. Otherwise, just shifting the room a bit will make it come across new. Paint the walls....paint is cheap and will totally tweaking the look of the room. As for accessories, rear to the ribbon again. Plain baskets can be trimmed in equal ribbon to appear as though they match. You can use them on the floor, dressers or any shelving you may already own.
Placemats from Target product great window valences. You don't even own to sew them. Get extended window rods and install. Lay the placemats over them and pin surrounded by place using a straight pin. I would leave up anything you have already basically to keep the privacy. Or if its something that doesn't coordinate, seize sheers for the windows...available at Walmart, roughly speaking $6.00 per panel.
The straw placemats that Target normally sell in the spring come surrounded by a lot of colors and kind great mats on the wall for pictures. You can stick them up beside artists glue spray, that instrument you can move them around until you find a configuration you like or pin in place and droop the picture over that.
Use Target's ideas, but fashion it your own. Good luck!
I redid my room for give or take a few $1000 by getting all contemporary furniture from Ikea. The furniture was in actuality relatively stylish and fun, and it all match. I got lighting, shelves, a bed, desk, bookcase, and 2 bureaus. Then I be able to use the rest of my money to buy a tentative bedspread, etc. Ikea also have those, and usually in the colors that you mentioned you similar to.
