i wanted to paint it pink,purple,or green. what would i have to do? or could i purely paint over it?
It would be best to put a primer coat first. over it? no i don't think that ask a specialist
Sample a little in an inconspicuous spot (inside the wardrobe if the flipside wall is painted the same colour is my fav. spot) give it a well brought-up few coats and see if it is the colour you want or if you may need an undercoat, but if it is fine, save your money and paint straight over it. Light Blue is for peace, Green is for humour, Red is for hard work and fire and purple is for friendship. choose the color you like
Answers: If it is light-colored, you should be able to just paint over it short having to use a primer. Make sure it is like over approaching (latex over latex or oil-based over oil-based). Get just a quart of the color you want and try it on the wall first. Look at it in different wispy to make sure you like it up to that time you do the whole room. Then, get your brush and roller and run to it.

You can paint over it but i would coat the wallswith plentiful layers of paint. Personally i like Pink and green toghther or Green or purple. Green sould be lighter pink and purple should be dark. My walls are a very light sunburn color also, like sand color.
I am currently painting them a buoyant green and its coming out great with just applying it directly. Just take like 2 coats.
you most likely own to prime it first and then paint. Ask at your hardware store. You should be able to paint right over it , but a 2nd coat will be mandatory !! Good Luck
paint over it. put on one coat and then wait for it to dry. next put on a second one..etc. just until it doesnt show brown anymore go to google and look at imagery and see the room at see wat you like and buy that paint
