I want to paint my apartment living room to a different color? can i paint adjectives the walls contained by a one accentcolor? or should i only pick 1 or 2 walls and color them...

or should i only pick 1 or 2 walls and color them only...? The living room is just about 18 x 15 in size. Currently they are all contained by the standard dull white...
that's a large room. i would do a bench rail and have the bottom color different from the top color

You can paint all four walls the same color or if you really want one wall to stand out, you can brand name that your accent wall. It would be the focal point of the room, so you would need to enhance it accordingly. Maybe hang a nice fine art on your accent wall to make it special and different from the other three. A dull tan or a sage green are good choices for you to paint your walls. If you opt on painting an accent wall, it could be a dark shade of brown or a darker shade of sage green. Good luck. It will be a big change going from white walls to color. Take you clue from something surrounded by the room, rug, painting or fabrics.

Either paint adjectives the walls or one wall. A darker accent wall will become more prominent (light shelves on a dark wall will become a focal point).

Happy painting!
Answers:    play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the pattern, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can scour by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most faithful, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look fab to paint the together room a rich brown like "tea chest" (# 6103).

You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can grasp color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look close to.
