.that's the question! My mom promised that she would get me a investigational carpet and dressers, but I still want to redo it.
Yard sales can be a great place to get stuff. Also check the clearance isle surrounded by stores. Paint is cheap, if you get the mess ups (at lowes and at homedepot) its REALLY cheap!
you can paint for exceedingly cheap. Depending on how big your room is, you would only need 1 or 2 gallons of paint, at $20 - $30 per gallon. Paint it yourself, you don't own to pay anyone to do it and it's kinda fun! Enlist a couple of friends to help you. Paint beforehand you put in the new carpeting, or if you do it after, clear sure to cover it very well next to tarps. Check out garage sales and the goodwill for light fixtures that you can paint and ornament, funky vases and statues, and the likes. Buy a few cheap picture frames, dress up them, and make a photo collage or shadow box out of them. If you just seize crafty you can do alot of neat stuff for very little money! move about to home depot and in their paint department they sell paint that other culture didnt want and they sell it for 1/3rd of the regular price. Then go to Wal mart and contained by the fabric department they sell textile in bulk for $1 per yard and purchase that to bring in your curtains with also they sell comforter set surrounded by a bag for under $30 and your bedroom should look stunning when your done.Good Luck!
Answers: Like the others said, paint is first and you can find a gallon for $20 or less and it should cover most normal size bedrooms. Your family unit may have the paint tray and rollers, if not ask to borrow neighbors', and use broadsheet and masking tape to prevent splatter. Do the drawing before you get the hot flooring and dressers, that way if you do spill a bit it, it won't ruin your new stuff. Then travel to a place like Ross, TJMaxx, or Burlington Coat Factory, and find yourself a new bedding set and some cheap frills. You can find some beautiful comforter sets for $29.99 that would be $150 and up at Macy's or JCPenney. Don't bother with Target or Walmart, first of adjectives the Ross/TJMaxx/BCF merchandise is higher quality, and secondly is cheaper. Have fun!
