I want to do some soundproofing. My house is on a really busy street. Has a front yard. I'm looking at have a higher brick or wood obstruction. What would be better? Also thinking of putting trees up. What are the better trees for absorbtion? Is a fountain a good conception. Thought please:)
Answers:    I've found that stone/brick absorbs the nouns better than wood. But wood is cheaper overall if you go near the typical pressure treated, cedar is way better looking but much more expensive, and stone/brick is markedly more expensive as well. Get some pricing and determine your budget, as okay as who can install it (and do a GOOD job!) except doing it yourself.

We've opted for year-round green trees due to one in a climate where on earth we get full winters, and found that the evergreens/pines/cedars do the trick for massacre a lot of boom. Things with lots of bushy/leafy branches that start at the bottom of the tree are pretty fitting, as they won't grow really tall and lose their talent to block sound when it's merely a trunk. We've staggered them a bit (so it's not just a straight line).

In our backyard we've installed a pond that give a great covering sound during the summer but it's also some running to keep verbs and free of bugs.

For in the house, here are sound-proof windows that really cut down on the uproar.

Good luck!
cheaper for a fence,...AND sometime what u can't see you can't hear,.. sort of play on the mind trick! Call Home Depot to install the barricade,.. they have devout contractors and can pop in up surrounded by one day
