I want to decoupage my walls, but I read somewhere that you have to verbs about disappearing in the pictures. (since I want to put magazine clippings and stuff resembling that) That makes sense, but is within a way that I can prevent declining in the pictures BUT NOT buying UV protected window?

ps. and since I'm going to paint my room, does it matter which type of paint I use? Because, after adjectives, I do want the paper to if truth be told stick to the walls
Answers:    The less sheen a paint have, the better the adhesion of the decoupage will be, so choose a flat paint for the areas of the walls where you will be applying the decoupage.

Art supply stores get rid of a uv-resistant water-based varnish that will minimize if not totally prevent discolouration or diminishing from sunlight. This varnish, although nowhere near as expensive as replacing your window, is not cheap; I seem to remember paying something similar to $20 for 1 litre a while back and if you are doing an entire wall contained by decoupage you will probably need a few litres.

Good luck!
