I love browns, taupes, reds, and oranges. I want something classy and contemporary.
-I need to start from chisel, my room is white with white furniture (I dislike intensely my parents haha).
I have fixed money and I don't mind DIY's.
Painting is out of the question right immediately, so any accessories, floppy paintings, cheap ways to do these things, etc.
THANKS!
A lot of really perfect coffee shops have local art on the walls. You could attain frames at Goodwill or some other charity shop, and then any buy posters, ask friends to make you some artwork, or cut things out of catalogs. The movie theater and the art museum may present you some extra posters, too. These'll look fab on a white wall, and you can really pack them in to tender the look you want. Just make sure the colors are within your favorite palette -- the browns, taupes, reds and oranges.
Perk up the furniture with material and afghans. You can knit yourself, or sew them and dye them, or get them at a charity shop, again. Again, don't buy/make unless it's contained by your color palette. A runner for the dresser, nice layers and cushions for the bed, something to stir over the back of any stool or sofa.
Floors also could use a throw rug or carpet.
You can build a wire chandelier or something cute and quirky to dangle from your ceiling light.
Buy a lampshade, and modge-podge it near art that you've cut from magazines (and fashion it reflect what you've get on the walls).
Get a little potpourri furnace (preferably electric, but a tea candle will work if you are careful), and keep your stove full of water and coffee grounds -- possibly some cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to give it an exotic perceive.
If your bookshelf is full, either make a contribution away half, or return with a bigger bookshelf. Then fill the senseless spaces with objets (fun arty things), or the coffee cups someone suggested. Make sure at lowest possible some of your books are artsy and literature-related, and put those at eye-level.
It sounds like your room have good bones -- newly put some finishing touches on, and you should have your dream!
specifically so cool!!
make your desk resembling a little rope black one with a fitting chair and bonding agent a really cute coffee cup to the in the corner higher than a book that you don't want any more, i mean if you want the paris look
Answers: if u can, create a bookshelf and put adjectives sorts of coffee and coffee cups in it...
own ur room smell like coffee (im pretty sure there's candles that u can obtain, if not.. a short time ago make some!!)
for ur furniture, brown table would be cute and any shade of tan/brown would be cute for ur bed
~~**good luck!!**~~
wow, that's a cool opinion.
O.K. Think of the types of coffee shops that are your inspiration. Ask your self how can this be adapted to my bedroom.
Here are some ideas
A chalice covered cake plate for some little cardboard jewelery boxes, will look like yummy Coffee treats.
How going on for mocha coloured bedding? Or if you have white bedding later how about some cool pillows. Are you thinking coffee and donuts? You could spawn pillows by painting on cups of coffee or donuts. You can brand donut pillows. If it was a donut next to vanilla icing and coloured sprinkles you could have greatly of fun with that. use the appropriate colours of textile and sew coloured beads on for the sprinkles. Then ther is sugar cube pillows. If you don't sew ask your mom, grandma, girlfriend, aunt etc to oblige or show you. That would be some creative fun bonding time. What about art. You could do trendy, colourful resourceful art by you and your "artsy" friends. Then when they come and visit you they can wallow in your coffee shop gallery. You could also make your own art, painted cups of steaming coffee contained by colourful cups, or collage work of coffee images such as wrappers from Maxwell House, Nabob, Starbucks, etc. A collection of useless coffee tins could be used for storage of stuff, and displayed somewhere. Or some colourfull or standard resturant coffeecups on a tray, for things like a neclace, view earings, cellphone, pencils etc. If you have room to supply a little table and two chairs that would work near your theme. Have fun beside it.
