i told my daughter that we would redo her room. unfortanitly we have run in to a speed bump. she her room is down stairs and has no window in it. so i told her that we can't have the murky colors that she wants. so i was wondering if anyone have a cheap room theme that might work. no pink she likes music,within to art, loves water ,the outdoors and goth.
pink if she likes pink you can ask a guy n your hood to put Windows n her room. try zebra themed. it has some black but also some white.. you could also put some close to blue or green to off set the black too!
I presume you should do something very random and different. Buy really abstract cool painting and hang them on her wall use different colors, like purple, green, white, red, and black. you can even enjoy like paint splatters on one wall, do like checkers on another. it would look sweet! enjoy her bedspread be a solid color, a color she tends to wear alot, and elocution it with small pillows that have different designs but at equal time tie all of the colors together. There does not necessarily to be a theme to her room, it in actual fact should just represent who she is! There are many different things that generate up her personality not just one specific 'theme', consent to her room be a place that when she, or anyone else walks in it will totally be notable it'w HER room. Have fun with it, use your creative side, and don't stick to just one subject matter. BE RANDOM!
Hope this helped =]] paint with a charcoal gray and bedside light blue, it won't look super dark and she would still probably like it... I don`t know u can paint one wall the blue(2 lighten it up a little) and the rest of the walls the gray with indistinguishable color blue stripe runnig down the center.. put the bed against the blue wall, get some lighting down there and some accsesories and pictures roughly speaking things that she likes, like music, the wet, etc... the room will have the darkness she requirements, but not look like a cave and u will both love it... be paid sure she likes the things u buy though, otherwise she will end up h8ing it...
Let her have it dark. A friend of mine have darnk hunter green walls, and a black light in his room. When his friends come over he would give us/them a highlighter and let us draw on the walls. I thought it be the coolest thing ever. how bout a baby blue and a kelly green?

Paint the walls different shades of blue for the sea. then paint a music note tree for the out doors(a music entry tree is a tree with music notes insted of apples)make shure to do the music summary black for goth. Paint her room like a dark purple or Sliver that looks really cool. You should also meditate about putting windows, a moment ago fire safety. You could get these stickers that you can newly put it on your walls like music notes your lyrics to your fav songs i really hope i help

OK, i don't really approaching goth but u could paint the walls her fave colour and then u could paint music notes resembling quavers and then u could bring some posters that she likes. Let her have it as she requests. So what if it is dark. You can always paint over it after that.
try a purple-darker purple, but not too gloomy if u dont like it! i think its cool that she is into music and art, so try puting up a sector of the room that she can hang her art work! add alottt of decorations to the room, but if i be u, then i would let her relieve u with it becasue your room is supose to be about u and what u delight in! it has to reflect on her. conceivably u pic some things and she pics some things and work it out together! you would absolutely need to turn with a light paint color, as to peroxide it up. Maybe an off white or eggshell, tan, authentic light yellow.With ashen you think of sunflowers or daises, you could frame her music.Old collection, posters, her art work, hang them on the wall or lean them against it.for water, I don`t know a tranquil blue and add some throw pillows on a comforter to match the dampen theme, Goth...I really don't have a article for so your on your own there. Rockstar, like grey and purple walls, Fun rockstar, lol. use ppl resembling miley cryus and jonas brothers for inspiration let her paint the bottom a dark color and the top neutral.
Answers: Paint the walls white. It will lighten up the room, and if you buy black furniture, and red accessories( Pillows, door bead, etc.) The room will have a nice gothic touch without looking approaching a graveyard :3 Decorate with her favorite band posters, and buy a desk and hurricane lantern for her to draw with, and your all set. :)
Tips
- Don't want to buy adjectives new black furniture? Just use a dark espresso lacquer, or black paint, and paint her previous furniture.
- Use a skull stencil to paint a skull border along the top of her walls.
- Try not to use too much incandescent/yellow night light, as it will ruin the black/white look.
- Make sure too let her pick stuff out, or she might not like her room!
- If you can, you probably should install a windowpane for fire safety, etc.
