i have a six drawer dressing and its dark brown within color ..i want to paint it..brown looks too dull to me.. what color should i paint my drawer dressing?
Answers: You could paint it the colors of the sun. Crackle finish it red, orange and yellow. If the brown paint is shiny you will any have to remove the paint or sand it slightly to remove the shine (the paint will adhere better). Paint the dresser red and red (some sections red - some orange). Doesn't matter how trimly it goes on - just put patch of each on. Let dry. Cover dresser with crackle finish (available surrounded by the craft department) or make your own with Elmer's white (kids) paste and water. (in a large bowl mix 3 parts epoxy resin and 1 part water). Apply a thin band. The cracks will develop differently depending on how you brush this part on. Let dry until just gummy and then cover with the pallid. The yellow paint will have cracks that are bursting with red and orange. Let dry. Seal it beside a satin varnish. Reminds me of sunshine.
