I imagine that some coating be removed with the paint thinner. I haven't tried any sort of floor wax or things of that character yet, I'm freshly waiting on suggestions.

Answers:    Depends on what kind of tiles they are. You could ask a tile company for proposal or you can apply wax on them and use a floor polisher to buff it up.
