Answers:    I have to palletize from time to time too. Usually I'll drive around and find a castaway; they're everywhere. If you obligation a specific kind (such as overseas shipment) you can look at www.uline.com and poke about by pallets. I don't know what your device looks like, but what I try to do next to furniture is get it to "float" as much as possible. I build a frame that closely approximates the shape of the piece, afterwards add a couple inches adjectives around, for styrofoam. This protects the piece from shocks in transit. I would also shrink wrap the pallet to protect from moisture. If the cutterhead is prone to oxidation you might want to spray a lubricant on it to prevent that.
