i let it dry, thinking it might be easier to verbs up. how do i get it out of the mat it without ruining it? its black staple polish and my carpet is a grayish, white! gratitude so much!

Answers:    DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER!!!! I did this with red finger pin polish. It will melt it further into the runner.
The second time it happened I call a carpet shampoo store and they get it out. It cost me $75.00 but at least they get it out of the carpet. Tell your parents and hold out to pay for the runner cleaner people.

PS: Also never set out polish around for a 4 year old to find.
