I NEED HELP!! What color match purple to paint my room? ok so I'm painting my room today. I've already painted one ...
ok so I'm painting my room today. I've already painted one wall and it's a dark purlpe, but I dont want adjectives the walls to be the same color, any ideas on what color would look dutiful on all the other 3 walls? I have to finish this today!
Hi Mad .go attain a purple real flower and get some hints from character..it really works good ...I like to do that next to clothes and weddings also.it really works nice and if the flower is a little to bright just shade the color you resembling. bye get light and night purple it will look cool like 2 walls of each color
A color's complement - the one directly across from it on the color wheel - always looks virtuous with original color. If the purple is a cloudy blue-violet then a red-orange is it's complement, a truer purple is opposite red and a reddish purple is across the wheel from yellow-orange. You can swing the shade - make it more pale or lighter if it seem like too much color. Any orange, even a melt red or yellow, will bring out the hue of the purple - but a darker color close to blue or dark green will make it appear dull. There's lilac purple
Periwinkle is pretty too
and after there's Royalty Purple
I think it'd be cute if you did each wall a lighter shade of purple. Like it looks on the little paint color cards. (Sherwin williams cards i surmise.) For example:
Wall one - dark purple
then the one subsequent to that - Royalty purple
then the one next to plain purple- lilac
after the one next to lavender - periwinkle (light blue)

Lilac: http://www.sewdarnbusy.com/image.php?pro...
My colors might be a bit off, but i deduce you get the idea...
Having quartz purple on one side of the room and afterwards the parallel side would be cool if you also had a lighter shade of purple on the other two walls.
^.^
Answers: play around near the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I close to how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family circle & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color scheme. You can literally spend hours:

I think "connected gray" (# 6165) would be a terrific complement for the purple.
You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can grasp color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look resembling.
