I lately painted a pantry. How long should I continue until that time I put food surrounded by it?
If you're putting can on your shelves you should wait at tiniest 8 hours for latex, but two days for oil-base. Just because it's dry and not tacky doesn't propose you can put heavy objects on it.
The longer you continue the better, the paint will be dry in a hours of daylight, or even hours, but still can be curing. If you can wait a week, taht would be best. We painted our shelves and loaded them the subsequent day. Some of the things that sit for a few weeks ended up sticking down. When we pulled them up it took the paint near it.
If you're just discussion abou the walls..then the subsequent day you're fine.
