I hold a color-changing book cover. It is really dirty. Should I clean it? With what?

Answers: try washing it by mitt (sorry if i offended you, as within, of course i would, idiot) um... try a litlle corner of it, and if that works, do the rest. if it screw up, then, distinctly, dont do any more!
if it effects the cover then don't do it. if it doesn't effect the cover, later do since it's REALLY dirty
