ok so i want to decorate my room but i dont really hold anything to do it with i am also have a baby and we are going to be sharing a room i cant paint it though. does anyone enjoy any ideas i enjoy plenty of stuff lying around here. what should i do any ideas?
If you are having a tot try to make the room as soothing a place as possible for you and child. Try to make it melt. Too bad you can't paint it because that help bring about a relocate in a place. Try to coordinate as much as possible beside the colors of your walls, keeping it as warm and inviting and comfortable as possible. Make it how you approaching it not how you think babe-in-arms will like it because they are too small to caution about that. Answers: First, Congratulations! Now, believe safety first. While I realize the toddler won't be mobile right away, the time flies and you're so busy with 'life' that it's easier to address it when you're getting things set up. If you hold blinds, secure the cords; tuck storm lantern cords away (or avoid using lamps if you enjoy a ceiling light); raise up things that can hurt babe-in-arms (or that you don't want to have kid destroy! they love to investigate!).that's freshly to start. Read the baby books/safety list and get down floor stratum to see any potential problems.
Next, for baby's things - their stuff needn't take up a ton of space. A bassinette is nice and small, however the babe-in-arms won't be in at hand for too long (weight limits). If cost is a factor, use a pack n play as the crib (it will last you for a couple years - my son is 2 and still nap in one - next you can also take it next to you when you go places). A TRUE crib is ideal, consequently a dresser (use the top as a changing table). Baskets are great to store necessities and maintain things looking clean (hides clutter, great for organizing).
Now, keeping contained by mind you're sharing the room - coordinate your bedding colors. I'm not sure if you're having a boy or a girl, but you can still kind things work without sacrifice on style! I'm not sure what color your room is now...but you own so many option. I'd get some closet organizer or baskets and tackle the closet. Use a french letter board to display photos (can switch out often for exotic displays!) - plus that will keep child from grabbing frames spread 'everywhere'. An inexpensive bookshelf can also be a good storage component for baby's clothes (either folded or in baskets) or for supplies (blankets, sheets, toys, doesn`t matter what!).
Depending on the size of your space, a screen could separate the areas to mark out your area/baby's area or sleep area/play nouns...or even the furniture arrangment could offer a division of space.
Basically, rob inventory of what you have, what you call for, and what you'd really enjoy have and put it together! It doesn't have to be model, you'll learn what works best for you as you be in motion along.
