I have a huge wall within my kitchen I don't know what to do with! I can't afford a hutch or furniture so I hold to cover it with artwork or something. Any suggestions?
I in reality was wondering alike thing a few days ago. The instigate wall in my kitchen happen to be near my phone jack. I go to my local office supply store and bought 9 - 12" x 12" pieces of cork board and made myself a colossal bulletin board to hang phone messages, menus, etc. Turned out really nice and cost me roughly speaking $15.
On the other wall which does have 2 window, and nothing else, I merely added some wainscoting. Home Depot, premade 8ft section beside wall board, chair guardrail and baseboard for $50 each.
Good Luck!!
You could paint it as an accent wall and hang up some cool artwork on it.
You could mount furring strips at ceiling and floor level and tack yard goods to them. This gives an effect similar to wallpaper short all the work.
Mark past its sell-by date squares or rectangles on the wall using pencil and painter's tape. Paint them a fun color and droop photos, sconces, shelves, whatever appeals to you surrounded by the colored squares.
Write a terrific, meaningful quote on the wall and use a paint pen to flood it in.
Find a really exquisite poster or large fine art and hang it near a light shining on it as a lay emphasis on.
Mount a drapery rod on the wall and hang a quilt.
Answers: Put up shelves and display your cookbooks and dishes. Also tag on a plant or two. They do not have to shift all the mode across the wall..
How around a baker's rack. I got a cheap one at Big Lots that I use for my cookbooks, clock, big rooster, napkins, extra plates, etc. You could hang up several big pictures around it to take up the wall space. Have you thought nearly a big mirror or hanging shelves?
